Incredibile, alle 9.00 in punto, partiamo! Il viaggio è particolarmente festoso questa mattina. Si canta e si… balla ! La strada da fare è tanta e utilizzeremo una strada statale che attraversa paesini e contee. Alle 11 siamo ad Amarilli, cittadina degli anni 20.
La cerchiamo… giriamo e rigiriamo alla sua ricerca, poi finalmente ci siamo… siamo sulla historical ROUTE 66! Siamo davvero in America! Dopo entusiasmi e balli di gruppo torniamo in marcia. Lungo la strada per il New Mexico 
troviamo il Cadillac Ranch, le famose 10 Cadillac piantate nel terreno, viste in tanti film.Troviamo delle bombolette spray e, come vuole la tradizione, lasciamo il segno anche noi, la firma dei “Friends” è impressa sulla prima vettura. Superiamo il confine, ora siamo in New Mexico. Ripercorriamo un tratto della Route 66 e, anche se non è la nostra direzione, la voglia è tanta e la prendiamo. Alle 15 ci fermiamo a pranzo da Denny’s, un ristorante stile Happy Days, ci aspettavamo che Arnold uscisse dalla cucina, fantastico.
…. Come ogni giorno, anche oggi cerchiamo il cavetto della signora Garret. Andiamo direttamente all’Avis in aeroporto di Albuquerque e … finalmente la Signora Garret, dopo giorni di silenzio… torna tra noi: è vera festa!!! Per festeggiare si da inizio ad una battagli dei palloni (vedi giorni scorsi) è panico!!!!
Facciamo tanta strada nelle praterie, il terreno è diverso dal Texas, è molto più verde. Viviamo un tramonto meraviglioso.
In serata arriviamo nella “messicanissima” Santa Fe.
I 7 capelli da Cowboy fanno girare tutti quando entriamo al ristorante! La gente ci saluta, si sente nell’aria la nostra energia. Stasera siamo scatenatissimi , beviamo birra messicana e mangiamo bistecche TBone!!! Tutti e 7 ci alziamo senza preavviso ed improvvisiamo una disco, balliamo scatenati, la gente ci guarda e ride divertita, dopo poco è festa per tutti! Stasera siamo scatenatissimi!!!!!!
Facciamo un giro a Santa Fe … la speranza di trovare, almeno in questo posto di festa un po’ di gente svanisce presto, per le strade ci siamo solo noi!
Ma questi americani… dove sono????
Pensiero del giorno: Un po’ di riserve c’erano: 7 persone in un minivan per giorni e giorni ed ore ed ore in uno spazio minimo ( anche se il nostro minivan è enorme), invece è tutto più che perfetto! La risata è l’unica reazione delle nostre emozioni! Un gruppo davvero fantastico!!!
Nota positiva: è incredibile quanti km facciamo, quante ore di guida affrontiamo e come tutto questo non ci pesi minimamente! Oltretutto si va a 120km/h e non è poi così piano. Temevamo i mitici 55 miglia all’ora (90 km/h)
Nota negativa: E’ tutto bello, è tutto fantastico ma non c’è gente! Troviamo contee di casette e giardinetti curatissimi, ma non c’è anima viva in giro. Non abbiamo incontrato nessuno dopo New York, ma la gente dov’è? In casa per il caldo? Ok, ma almeno affacciatevi alle finestre!!!!
Consiglio del giorno: Se volete fare un viaggio come il nostro, ricordatevi di portare il carica batteria da auto, è comodissimo e utilissimo! Le cose da riprendere e fotografare sono tantissime.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

What a well written post. I spend hours on the internet reading blogs, about tons of different subjects. I have to first of all give kudos to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an unbelievable post. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only a few posses and frankly you have it. The combination of informative and quality content is definitely extremely rare with the large amount of blogs on the internet.
